A male Anna's hummingbird hovers while snowflakes fall around him. These little birds manage to survive year round in BC, despite the sometimes cold winter weather. I'd really hoped to capture a photo with the bird's beautiful colours and the snow around him so I built a blind and in my backyard and sat waiting for this moment. Nature is filled with incredible beauty, even close to home!
